F10 M5 Infinity Performance Intake System – Smooth Airflow & Turbo Boost
Upgrade your BMW F10 M5 with the Infinity high-performance intake system, engineered to improve airflow, lower intake temperatures, and deliver a more responsive, enjoyable driving experience. Unlike the factory intake, which has an angular design and limited airflow capacity, the Infinity system uses a smooth one-piece expanding inlet tube with integrated MAF and silicone couplers, maximizing air velocity and turbo efficiency.
DESIGN & AIRFLOW
The large-volume venturi inlet tubes act as extended velocity stacks, smoothing airflow into the engine for improved low-RPM torque and immediate throttle response. The inlet attaches via stainless steel V-band clamps to the air filter housing, which receives fresh cool air directly from the front of the engine bay, minimizing heat soak from the wheel arch and engine bay.
HIGH-FLOW AIR FILTERS & FRONT AIR FEEDS
Encapsulated bespoke Infinity air filters reject hot engine bay air while distributing ambient air evenly for consistent performance. Front air feed extensions prevent airflow loss and turbulence, ensuring maximum airflow into the turbos even at high speeds. At 30 mph+, inlet temperatures match ambient conditions, and under full load up to 70 mph, temperatures rise by only 6°C (10°F) in hot ambient conditions. Above 70 mph, intake temperatures remain at ambient, allowing the ECU to maintain optimal ignition timing, boost, and fueling.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
Independent Dyno Dynamics testing shows 15–25 hp gains across the RPM range, with notable improvements below 3000 rpm due to smooth airflow and above 4750 rpm where free-flowing design improves turbo efficiency. Real-world testing confirms smoother power delivery, faster turbo spool, and a more exhilarating engine response under both normal driving and full load.
