5150 AutoSport CP Carrillo Pro-Xtreme Forged Piston Set For BMW S58 Engine

5150 AutoSport's CP Carrillo Forged Pistons for the BMW S58 engine found in the BMW G80/G82/G83, X3M, F97 X3M, F98 X4M and G87 M2.

The S58 is an aluminium block with a spray-on iron coating on the cylinder walls. This allows the engine to have the strength and durability of a cast iron block, while still retaining the lightweight and heat dissipation benefits of an aluminium block.

These pistons are a factory replacement; no modification will be needed such as; bore or hone.

These pistons are made by CP-Carrillo to 5150 Autosport specifications using HD-forged high-strength aluminium, which allows them to withstand the higher cylinder pressures and temperatures generated by turbocharging.

2000HP Rating

If the cylinders aren't in good shape, then sleeving will be required.

Please note, the Pro-Xtreme Piston is engineered to handle up to 2000HP, however, the Standard Wrist Pin can only handle 800-850HP. To exceed 850HP, it is a MUST to use Heavy Duty pins.
